Must Have Supplies Every Notary Needs

If you’re a notary or if you know someone who’s a notary, you might want to look into getting some supplies.

One of the best ways to get what you need is to get a starter kit. You can get a personal identification stamp, an embossing seal and a case to keep it in, and a notary guide and record book. These are important things to have because you can’t do your job without them, and you won’t want to be caught off guard and not be able to provide your services to someone who needs them.

If you want to make things a little bit easier for yourself you can get a personal identification stamp that is self inking, so you don’t need an ink pad. This helps to cut down on the mess that can sometimes be caused by ink pads that don’t get closed up properly.

There are all different kinds of stamp and seal combinations that you can use, and there are also guidebooks, forms, and fancy items like gold seals that you can buy if you choose.

Printing Plastic Requires Precision

If you want to print plastic, you have to be precise, but it’s a very difficult thing to do. Plastic cards used to be an innovative novelty item, but now they are seen in all aspects of modern society. They can be used in so many types of applications that their possible uses are really almost endless.

These plastic cards are used so often and for so many things; it’s crucial that they are made by a good provider who knows the right way to make plastic cards. They have to be even, they have to be smooth, and they have to be correct. It’s not always easy to get them this way, but it’s a requirement of a plastic card printing company that wants to stay ahead of the game.

Because these cards are so important to a lot of companies, it’s best not to take a risk on a card printing company that you’re not sure about. You want a company that knows what it’s doing and that has been in business for some time. Your business might depend on it.

Industrial Valve Tag Producers Moving Overseas

Author: Michael  |  Category: printing news

A lot of the producers of industrial valve tags are moving at least some of their operations overseas. Tyco Sensormatic is one of them, and it is moving over 320 jobs out of Cork and into overseas locations where things cost less. Another similar company in that region is losing 150 jobs.

With the economy struggling in many places throughout the world, it’s no surprise that this is taking place. A lot of companies can’t afford to pay their employees what they used to because sales – and therefore profits – are down and the cost of the materials and other areas of doing business is up.

Operations at the Cork facility were already scaled down in 2005, but with the changing global market that didn’t prove to be enough. Many people are very upset about the loss of jobs in their community, but Cork is not the only area and Ireland is not the only country where this is taking place. It’s becoming a worldwide trend that manufacturers move their work overseas so that they can afford to keep doing business.

Benefits of Pad Printing

Author: Michael  |  Category: printing news

Pad printing has become the preferred method of designing surfaces, delivering results traditional flat printers simply can’t produce. It’s the perfect solution for designing the irregular surface of a golf ball, water bottles, rounded syringes and various types of glass, metal, plastic wood and industrial products.

The capability of pad printing is understood best by those putting this technology to use. They can tell you all about the many benefits, including the following:

Easy Cleanup

Several manufacturers know that applying adhesives is time-consuming, labor-intensive and often messy. The transfer method employed by pad printing uses a sealed ink-cup to keep the glue from drying out and the silicon pad deposits the exact amount of adhesive in the same location every time.

Versatility

Pad printing’s ability to print on curved or uneven surfaces gives it an advantage over traditional flatbed methods of material deposition. It can easily print on circuit boards, touch-key applications, multilayer membrane switches and other electrical components.

Next-generation Usage

Pad printing also provides benefits in areas that are only starting to be explored. With the right equipment, pad printing is ideal for decorating cookies and applying flavors or nutritional additives to compatible food surfaces.
